what's the point? You are bytching about them releasing it for $60...dont buy it then.

the definitive version has been out for months. Consider this a console tax
The point is the price gouging I already have it. As I assume most who are interested in the game has bought it already.

These Definitive Editions will most likely be next gens "HD Collection".

Personally I think this is good for those who missed games the first time around (think TLOU, GTA, Beyond 2 Souls, other games from last gen) although backwards compatibility could've cut some of these rereleases

Plus there isn't much else on the horizon next gen wise till Spring/Fall 2014 at the earliest so these Definitive Editions help fill out the library this early in the game

Im not against the games at all. And its a great idea they just need to be priced accordingly, but give a month, the price will drop pretty quickly.

It should definitely be cheaper. Shouldn't be higher than 40 for the new gen editions.

Also, at this point, PS360 titles should be sold at 40-50 bucks brand new now. I've seen a few select PS3 titles get released for 440 bucks brand new (Puppeteer), but not too many of them. Should definitely be the norm now.

This has nothing do with the PC

it's like the elephant in the room though. they're charging 'next gen' console gamers $60 for more or less the same content that's (on sale for) $10 on PC

Heres The Thing

People Who Have Played It Last Gen Arent Gonna Buy It, So No Sweat There

And For People Who Havent Played It Its Worth The Price Cuz Its A Great fukking Game, And You Get A shyt Ton Of Extras That Last Gen Buyers Didnt Get For The SAME Price

It'll Be On Sale In A Month Anyway

I Think Its A Good Thing That Such A Good Game Carried Over And Those Who Didnt Get A Chance To Play It Can

Right. Do not support these practices it is a simple concept. But discussion about it is healthy. The more we point things like this more people will become aware.
I understand this notion for things like DRM. I'm not sure what there is to be made aware of here. It's a port of a game with some extras. What's the hidden agenda here?

Hidden agenda? Not really what i was implying. It is a rip off. A port and some pre exciting DLC is now worth the same as a brand new game? I know Value is subjective but still. I do not think this merits a full price tag
