YouTube doesn't have any competition. people will sit thru their ads.
honestly, I think companies really need to ask themselves "how effective is advertising?" I see a Wix.com commercial everytime I watch a YT video and I have no plans to use their service.
Every company has different objectives. The fact is that because of those ads, you know what Wix is, and what they offer. Now if for ever reason you want to create a website, you will think of them and seriously consider them. It might cost them $2 to show you an ad 50 times, but if you just host one website with them, they get a good return on their investment.

Exactly! The brand awareness alone makes it worth it.
The problem IG has is they didn't just put ads in, they took away the chronological order of posts. I don't think most people are mad about ads, most people just don't like that when they post, their friends don't even see their shyt for like a couple days because more popular accounts are pushed up higher in the feeds. Snapchat users see the end coming.

Motherfukkas always complain about updates though. Know how many times Facebook and Twitter sat through petitions and outcry from their users saying they will leave them because of the new update. Execs be in their offices like
Now Snapchat has to tread lightly because Zuckerberg is coming for they neck, but please believe Snapchat didn't do this update for kicks and giggles. Word.....Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon has been perfecting ways to watch you and your habits to figure out how to sell things to you. shyt is looking grim in the near future. Your phone knows more about you than anyone and consumerism and social media will only make this easier for these companies to exploit your need for the latest and greatest. nikkas actually buying devices thats always listening and watching?

You can use Adblock in the case of YouTube ads, not so much for Snapchat.
