Snitching in the work place: is there a line in the sand?

Here's the deal, I work with some cats who cannot work and talk at the same time. There's times where I'm obviously picking up their slack. I let it be known to them they should shut the fukk up and work; it's not hard to do both. These cornball foreigners sometimes don't get the message. Now it's not a thing about always talking because we would shyt talk each other in a friendly way, only difference was I worked. It's the same shyt every day. So today I had enough. I was already pissed off as it was. These fukks were going off and I told them again; they just laughed it off. It was probably the 3rd or 4th time today and work needed to be done. One of our supervisors walks by and I tell him to "tell these guys to shut the fukk up and work" in those exact words. Mind you I did this in front of these fukks instead of behind their back.

Now I can see how this is snitching even if I did it to their face. I realized now I should of gave them a warning that if they didn't work I would let higher ups know, but I was caught in the moment and had enough. In fact if homeboy didn't pass by I wouldn't of said shyt in the first place.

So I ask now, do you "drop dimes" or are you true to anti-snitching and just keep on?

My work isn't like that; it's looked at as a team effort. Believe me, I'd do that out of instinct if I could.

My coworker snitches ALL DAY Every 30 mins to an hour she getting up to run and tell on somebody about something ot seems. I hit my line in the sand yesterday cuz it's like damn, if you snitching on everybody else I KNOW you gotta snitch on me too about something



Then she come in with her hair dyed... Got a new ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard and mouse... It's tax season again in this bytch? who the fukk burns money for supplies at WORK bringing work home all of a sudden like shyt ain't hourly... I see thru it all, her big ass done become the office pet

Go to their boss or your boss etc, then put in a legitimate concern from a business standpoint about how you have to pick up their slack given their inactivity and how that's negative for the business.

Follow up with your boss about it in the future to hold people accountable.

Nothing wrong with wanting what's best for the business.

That’s snitching to me. Not as bad as going behind their backs but that was still a bytch move. I let cats dig their own graves after they don’t take my advice. If I know I’m good, I ain’t worried about them. If I have to pull weight, I don’t do it. When the bosses confront us, I stay quiet. I wanna hear what these cats say first and then I’ll go off that.
