Thanks for this article Michael. It amazes me how some black men complain -- and rightfully so -- about police brutality but have no problem verbally abusing women by calling them b**chs and h**s. You're right about Ice Cube. He needs to grow the heck up.
You know this goofy bird didn't what Cube said AT ALL.
On top of that you know this goofy bird doesn't realzie that "Police bruality"
against black people doesn't stop at black MEN, it affects black WOMEN too.
Police brutality effects all races. It's a prevalent issue in our society
okay and ?

How you claim you straight when you got me on the brain constantly, and try to antagonize me with your bytchyness in order to draw me in to an exchange with you? Y'all like the coli basketball wives with the drama and hate...LOL at the insecurity.

Anyway, since you called, I thought the article was pretty dumb as well. The writer missed the larger issue, and thats the different places these men are currently at due to their respective histories. Dre had a serious problem with putting his hands on females, while Cube to my knowledge hasnt had those sorts of issues of violence against women. Dre is sort of like a recovering alcoholic or drug addict of sorts, who needs to confront the demons of his past and divorce himself from them. Cube was "grown up" a lot earlier than Dre was when it came to his behavior, and the way he treated women in his personal life.

She also could've pointed out just how prevalent misogyny is throughout the various subcultures (not to mention social classes as well within NWA) in black america itself, and how those groups/influential people neglect to mention the needs for respecting black women.

To put it simply, it'd be asking a lot of a young black man who came about in the late 80's/early 90's who's limited values and experience were molded by either the Nation of Islam or MOB Piru when neither have a notable track record in regards to shunning White America's patriarchy.

this is 100% real perspective tho, cube aint apologizing and flowing with this PC, anti "slut shaming" society. some people fit the words that were used to describe certain types of people. if you don't fit the bill, don't be offended.

as for the scene in the movie? what the hell are we mad at again? that's like the folks who were mad sansa got raped. my god :scust:

edit: and that title is laughable, cube is the epitome of growing up...you see it in his films, you hear it in his music, you see it in the fact he's not harboring the same racial views from 1990. if you're going to attack his quote, whatever, but dude has definitely grown.

:wow:

Actually after lookin,it looks like a black man wrote this,i use the word man loosely:scust:

"Michael Arceneaux hails from Houston, lives in Harlem and praises Beyoncé’s name wherever he goes. Follow him on Twitter."

Explains a lot actually about this article that felt like pandering before, but now I know its nothing more than a article pandering to black females.....the only rest haven for his type:scust:

Figured he was a homo. His entire twitter full of reality shows and shyt. Thats more destructive than anything that 47 year old Ice Cube is doing. He raised a solid black family been with the same woman for 20+ years never been in the news for negative shyt. Meanwhile this sissy running behind other men, talking with a lisp spreading aids. He the real detriment to the black community. These fakkits and dyke feminist have waged a war on black males, we catchin it from all angles.
