Only rich people say that..you never hear broke people saying it

It's true. I don't give a damn about material things. Don't care about Gucci belts, Jordans, and rolexs. Give me a few cars, a few motorcycles, a decent house, and I'm good. And you don't need to be rich to afford all that.

It's crazy how y'all talk down capitalism and greed but be the same people wanting materialistic things.

I blame social media this shyt fukking people heads up something serious
"Research suggests that people who limit their time on social media tend to be happier than those who don’t. Studies also indicate that social media may trigger an array of negative emotions in users that contribute to or worsen their depression symptoms."

  • A 2018 University of Pennsylvania study

    found that the less time people spend on social media, the less symptoms of depression and loneliness they felt.

countless studies after studies since 2016

Money, no matter how much, doesn’t make people happy. It makes life easier but can’t fix what’s broken inside. There are tons of rich/wealthy, lonely, depressed people. They just drive nice cars, live in mansions and wear nice clothes masking it

I hope she gets the help she needs and finds true happiness

:lawd::lawd::lawd:

Humans need to get this through their simple ass brains. :aicmon:People without electricity and homes are loving life and happier than a mffer, I worked in a branch of the Peace Corps for 2 years at a homeless shelter and it changed my life . :what: Mffers would come in every night and smile and joke with me and one group of men sat down with me one night at dinner ( i ate with them :manny:they were eating better than me at the time) and they said every morning they know that God will provide and every time He does it’s an immense joy/confirmation.

edit to add: there’s a Scripture that says (paraphrase) the birds do not wonder where they will sleep or eat , they just trust

One man was an ex professor ( Nobel nominated , I found him and his research ) another was something in business and he showed me his “before life” photos and he was imo living good with a house kids and boat but he said he was miserable and decided to drop off the face of the earth

I hate how dismissive y’all are to depression it has nothing to do with social media or how rich you are it’s a disease of the brain it’s a terrible disease that claims so many and people who never had it just dismiss it.

I can imagine social media is not good for those suffering from serious depression though; simply put, the internet too negative.
