Needs more live bass and warmth.. but he's moved away from that since The Chronic. I was one of the few I guess that was pretty underwhelmed when I heard the 2001 bootleg before it dropped.

you can make funky shyt without live bass but his beats post-2006 are almost too clean, they feel hollow. And the corny pop/r&b hooks and orchestral strings to sound more "epic"

RZA got the same problems but I'll take new Dre over new RZA in 2024
