Rappers have been wearing chains and necklaces since the beginning of the genre. Its not a fad and its not going anywhere.


Only issue I ever had with rappers and chains is that period in the mid 00’s when they were just gaudy for no damn reason. T-Pain’s Big Ass Chain piece was just overkill.

sounds like you live under a rock, jewelry always has been a thing since before time especially black people.

gold jewelry especially since it never really loses value, now that trash elevated zirconia with fake diamonds that some of these rappers wear is totally different.
