Damn this might be the first snoop album I listen to in real time

Beautiful shyt.
People always link Nas with you know who but to me Snoop is Nas true peer.
- Both came up young as fukk with incredible performances on other legendary albums around '91.
- First album superduper classics that changed the game, overseen by legends in the game (Dre/DOC/Premo etc).
- Entire career would be compared to their first albums.
- Succesful beyond rap.
- Contemporaries of and both kind of were cool with and also beefed with BIG and PAC.
- Still dropping heat in 2022![]()

Powerful case made.
Prolific posting.
Dapped. Repped.
But you wanted to argue with me when I said it. Been saying that shyt for years. Gimme my props.Did you make the case the way @Soymuscle Mike did? I posted the Wee Bey gif because I never reflected on all the similarities, and like @Soymuscle Mike alluded to, Nas is most closely associated with GOAT rapper Prodigy. But you wanted to argue with me when I said it. They got a very similar discography. They got the classic, a couple good albums, and a bunch of mediocre shyt. Snoop got way better side projects, way better singles, way more charismatic. I'd take tha last meal and the blue carpet over anything nas has done since the year 2000. Jay fall in the same category as well. nikkas getting hyped off of what they did a couple decades ago, i noticed it only works for east coast rappers though.
It's snoop was from the east coast he would be goat. East coast love hyping nikkas who ain't made good albums since the 90s. Jay catalog is mediocre as fukk. snoop shyt is on par with jay, naw on second thought I'll give him the nod cause his side projects is way better. But if we calling Nas and jay the goats, snoop deserves that mention as well.
breh that shyt came and went. it got the "nas acclaim" like everything else he does but shyt wasn't no classic, no album of the year, etc. shyt came and went. wtt got acclaim as well. I'm not saying it's wack but unless you a nas stan like most of this site is, shyt isstatus. bunch of way better shyt dropped that year.
nas and Jay are east coast snoop doggs. they got the 1 undeniable classic (although jay a littlein that area to me) , they got a couple great albums, then everything else is mediocre. the only difference is snoop don't get to live off of shyt he did 20 years ago like the other 2 do.
kanye is an average rapper.
kanye is an average producer.
jay and nas are east coast snoop doggs.
Keeping it g-real, Nas has been "solid" at since the in the 00s and after. Jay too though. I've said it on here multiple times on here, east coast Snoop Doggs.
Beautiful shyt.
