There's like 77 different versions of this story
I like the version where Nas and Tupac join forces to fight the dinosaurs overrunning Central Park. They saved the city.

Snoop was outside the circle watching like "you forgot to kill the T-Rex, nephew"

Q&A: Nas’s Brother, Jungle, on Life in Queensbridge and the New Doc ‘Time Is Illmatic’ TRIBECA FILM

A lot of people couldn’t believe how different you are from your brother. He comes across as quiet and pensive; you seem forthright and more candid. Are you guys total opposites?

We are. Yeah, he’s laid-back and I’m very wild. But if you get around us, you’ll go, “Oh, y’all brothers.” We have the same actions, beliefs, and theories, but I’m way different with how I act and what I say. I like telling jokes a lot. I am way wilder as a person.

[Speaking] as someone who has followed Nas’s career from the start, you guys always had this weird dynamic. It’s like, even though you are the younger brother, you never acted like the little brother.

I am really overprotective of him. It’s almost like he’s my little brother. It’s been like that since we were kids. He was always more laid-back than me, so as kids sometimes I would fight a big guy because [Nas] wasn’t a fast fighter. I would fight at the drop of a hat.

Once his music career [started], I knew what kind of person my brother is. He’s not soft or nothing, but he’s just laid-back. Coming out of Queensbridge, you had all these guys that wanted to be down, or wanted to extort you or take your chain — all of this stuff will mess up your career. I made sure nothing happened. I did anything to make sure nothing happened. I would have laid my life out to make sure nothing ever happened. If someone pulled out a gun, I would step right there. That’s my big brother, but I’m his big brother, though.

Like poster above me said,Tragedy wouldn't not lie to make nas look good at all.

yea but his story makes his hood look good.

not saying hes lying but im saying.

If Bad Boy was so disrespectfull to snoop and his entourage...why would puff go on the steve harvey show together with him showing love...walking all around new york with a nuthing but a g thing baby shirt and take snoop out on road trips ever since till 2015.

nah snoop and biggie & puff always were close. Snoop admired Big and Biggie admired Snoop.

same reason why snoop kissed bad boy's ass on hot 97 just months after biggie got on the radio and encouraged new york to handle their business on the dogg pound's video shoot.

Curtis Sc00n, OG from Queens, once said the scene from Belly when Nas killed the nikka who ran up on him (after he was talking to AZ) was based on a true story where Nas ran two armed dudes off who tried to rob him. And Sc00n has no reason to lie, he's not any of these rapper's fans

To internet nikkas, it's always that a nikka is either soft or tough. No inbetween. Black and white shyt.

Me personally I don't believe Nas was a soft dude just not a wolf like that. But definitely not a guy to try to punk.

"Nas is soft" "Nas heart pump kool aid" you nikkas underestimate people too much, not a sign of intelligence

Only version of this story I believe is Tragedy Khadafi's story

1) He is from QB
2) Him and Nas do not get along and there is no point in defending him
3) Everyone else who told the story i.e. from Death Row have told differing versions of the story, coincidently so it looks as if they didn't get punked.

Either way QB runs you ninjas, ask Russell Simmons
Plenty of reasons for Trag to defend Nas, although I won't get into most. For starters, it was on a QB documentary at a time when amends had been made with Nas. If you asked Tragedy that same question regarding what happened 10 years ago, he would've told you that Nas' crew basically rallied anyone and everyone who was willing to ride with them to go see Pac, using age old methods like bribery. In fact, that was the night someone's car got hit with a molotov cocktail. Why? Because a lot of QB dudes hated/were jealous of Nas. I think Nas kinda owned up to it in a song years later although he never really gave any background.

So QB dudes were reluctant to ride with Nas against Pac. A Nas who had really been feeling himself, distancing himself from certain people and acting too good for the hood (in their opinion) and now all of a sudden he needed their help. Against a Pac who had rolled through QB before and a Pac most of whom respected. Especially Tragedy, who would go on to change his name to Tragedy KHADAFI (ahem), rename one of his up and coming rappers from Headrush to Headrush NAPOLEON and basically bit Pac's "Bleed through similar veins" steez for Bloodtype. And bit him again countless other times, including re-naming his 98 album Against All Odds. So not everything is so cut and dry.

As far as what happened between Pac and Nas when they came face to face? Only they know but one things for sure, both had a lot of respect for each other before and after that meeting.
