Snoop might be the only rapper who has two, hit, party songs that have transcended 3 generations

thought this was gonna be one of the songs mentioned in the OP.

off top, trying to think of other contenders. :jbhmm:

Hammer - Can't Touch This, 2 Legit 2 To Quit

Naughty By Nature - Hip Hop Hooray, OPP

Biggie - Mo Money, Mo Problems, One More Chance?

TS needs to define generational ages tho? young teen = 13, parent = 28, grand parent = 53?

Not rap
But New Edition should be ther too :umad:

Love Hammer, but nah. Iono if people all the words to both of those.

Naughty? C'mon man - the only way you know all the words to those if you sat down determined. Lol

Might be right with Biggie - Matta fact, Big got more than 2. "One More Chance", "Big Poppa", and i'd wager most folks know all the words to "Get Money"...

LL, maybe...People know LL songs like that, but not the "party" songs...
Take that back - "Around The Way Girl", "Big Ole Butt", if you really fucc wit' L you might know "Jingling Baby".

Tribe got "Bonita Applebum" and "Electric Relaxation"...

Might be a stretch - but Big Pun? Everybody know "Still Not A Player" and "Twinz", right?

Another stretch probably - Nore? "Superthug", "Oh No", "Nothin'", "Banned From TV"...or is 2-5 TOO THUGGED OUT for those to be called "party" songs?

I think dmx might hit that territory with stop drop and party up

This is a good one...

"Ruff Ryder's Anthem" is mostly "what?"s, is wasn't hard to learn the words to that
"How's It Going Down"
I bet most people at least tried to learn the names in "What These Bytches Want"

You think young teens are on Stop, Drop lIke that across the board ?

Yeah, and I'll tell you why.

- it may be the most played DMX single, it was even in movies and chit...
- it's the easiest DMX song to learn, because like I said earlier it's most "what?"
- In my travels, I've found out that DMX is young folks workout music. Lol
