Snoop didn't give Gayle an out. Folks are still on Gayle's neck for that interview.

As I said elsewhere, folks are more concerned about the language Snoop used instead of Gayle's clout chasing and if folks have to use harsh language to get their point across, so be it.

But what about when harsh language changes the subject? The focus was firmly on Gayle. I know you and others are still saying that foots are still on Gayle's neck and maybe you're right...but from what I'm seeing it looks like this entire convo has shifted to "black men react violently when rape case comes up." Which is the last spin I thought we'd be seeing, but here we are unfortunately.

When she crawls out from under her rock she's going to do interviews about death threats and depression...and there will be no followup questions about Charlie Rose or anything else because that subject has been lost in the wind. She got what she wanted.

I feel like if more people saw the video of Kobe’s accuser bragging about getting “raped” while laughing and high fiving people, the Colorado incident would never get brought up at all. Too bad cac agents will never let that shyt go viral.
There’s video?

She was hanging out with Prince Harry and Meghan, allegedly. She's probably yukking it up with them for all we know.

She tried to play the victim by dragging CBS into this, but she is the one that has all full autonomy for all of her interviews. It's clear as day. She's the queen of the set-up questions.

I saw the exact same tactic when she interviewed Mike's brothers. She tried to do the same thing to Lisa, but she wasn't going for it.

I understand where you're coming from in regards to that, but, at the end of the day, Gayle is not the victim and she deserved to get dragged for what she did.

I hope you're right...I just don't think she gonna take any long term damage here. She didn't take any damage for the MJ stuff either.

In the video itself you could see Snoop was like "Can I say this... :patrice: "

He's obviously moved beyond all his 'bytches and hoes/187 on a muthafukkin cop' days, but the Gayle situation really pissed him off and he got angry because he felt it wasn't right for people to be slandering Kobe's name immediately after his death.

That said, I was watching Snoop play Madden on twitch last night, honestly I don't think he gives a single fukk :russ:

Snoop is honestly preaching to the choir although I give him props for still holding his stance.

Any decent, even marginally intelligent person understood what was meant by snoops original rant.

The people he's addressing dont give a fukk about clarification, context, inference or morals. They were going to come for him no matter what as long as he was riding for kobe and attacking these sambo puppets. They have one mission and that is to play their part as agents of subversion.

We went from " Oh my god I cant process this shyt , Kobe's really gone" to "I didnt mean no harm by my off-the-cuff rant about these bourgeois house nikkas slandering black legends at the behest of their white media conglomerate corporate overlords."

We need to go just as hard to maintain Kobe's legacy, and even if not the likes of Cosby himself, fight for the ideal of what he use to represent in the 80's and 90's. Black people cant afford to just be deleting our heros just because the white media said so. If we do that then white people will try to rewrite history and prop up their worst in place of our best. Besides Cosby didnt rape shyt, Black people know it and the real reason we bushed him is because of the poundcake speech in the early 2000's. He was an out of touch, senile old man who had lived long enough to see himself become the villian because he lost faith in his people after years of pushing the line and showing us the power of positive representation of black people regardless if it was fictional. What he did with comedy and the Cosby show manifested into reality for alot of us that didnt think the phil huxtable life was attainable.

Do I respect him for hating on Pryor, Eddie and other up and coming comedians. Hell no. he was foul and short sighted for thinking it could only be done "his" way.

They retroactively paint him as a sexual deviant and rapist, when he was doing what every other high status socialite of his hey day was doing: Snorting and smoking massive amounts of drugs and having orgies at studio 54 and house parties. If he'd actually raped any white woman, regardless of status back then he would have gotten his "nikka wakeup call" a whole lot sooner. These crackas saw a weak, frail shadow of a man in his 80s and kicked him while he was down as only a cracker can do for money and deprecation.

That's what they do with out legends, treat them like merchandise; buy low and sell high.

Meaning they go on a smear campaign to devalue their worth and legacy then acquire ownership of their publishing, copy rights, estate, (buying low)
then turn around and try to clean up their legacy so they can profit off their catalog by manipulating fans high on nostalgic. (selling high)

When these crackas play dirty they have a "scorched Earth" policy. It's not enough to physically beat the shyt outta them and think its a win for the black race. We have to fight propaganda with propaganda. We have to be just as gangsta with economics and controlling the narrative of how we get represents as we are with a gun. Because all of this shyt boils down to some gangsta shyt; The art of war.

But Oprah did.

Oprah to this day stays getting dragged for that MJ documentary. I truly believe that MJ pushback is the real reason she pulled out of that upcoming Russell Simmons documentary

This. Notice how they leave out this fact and the fact that Black women are speaking against her too. F all that victimized Black woman shyt bc we are not for it either and coming for her head.

From reading the comments, Black women are at the forefront of this. It’s only a few that I’ve seen co signing the bullshyt. When you seen what happened, it’s an insult to anyone’s intelligence to fall for their shyt.
