Snoop's son will be a 2nd- mid 3rd round pick in a few years while Diddy's son gets no playing time.

He probably seeing moves that Cube's son is making and how his pop's friend is worth enough to buy a NFL team if he wanted.
:jbhmm: I see nothing wrong with his decision here and not getting the hate for dudes decision. D1 football at a major univ is the last thing u want to be involved with if your heart aint 100% into it, especially if your folks can afford to pay for school. Unlike most normal 18 year olds, he'll have access to millions after school if he plays his cards right. Why risk life and livelihood to play a sport which u werent going to make it to the next level in if you dont have to?

what access to millions? Because he's snoop son. that means nothing. his name doesnt guarantee him anything. Snoop can cut him off after college if he wanted to.

Just another example of a kid who was pushed into playing a sport he didn't care about. If he was growing up poor, he'd be pressured to keep it up with the family's well being on his shoulders at a ridiculously young age.

Then again after looking at his tape, if he wasn't Snoop's son he'd be lucky to be rated a 2 star coming outta high school.

Yeah, several Kenyan runners have said that their kids refuse to run because they grew up with money and cars.

i wish people would stop assuming because you have a celebrity parent means you have access to millions. Kids need to make their own way and path. I was watching Nellyville and his daughter wanted to quit college to become a singer. Yo i get it, Nelly has connections. But that doesnt mean you are gonna be successful singing. Of course, college guarantees nothing either. but at least you have that piece of paper. Also you will be able to find work. Where the hell is JoJO from run's house? Is he still living off Daddys money too? you really think Cordell broadus is gonna finish 4 years of college? He didnt want to put the work in on the football field, but now he gonna put the work in for academics? Ok then.

Where in here did you see he would quit school and pursue rapping? You were watching Nellyville? :scust: This entire post reeks of jealousy. "You really think Cordell broadus is gonna finish 4 years of college?" Ice Cube's son did at USC and he didn't even pursue foozball before knowing he wanted to be a screen writer & now he's starring as his father in "Straight Outta Compton" after doing two years of tryouts. But, do I think Cordell is gonna finish 4 years of college? He's lazy because he didn't want to be a football player? :yeshrug:Stop trying to live their dreams

its not just about sports, its about life period. you ever hear the phrase whatever you want in life you gotta work hard for it? cordell had it easy. in high school he was a top player. in college, just another number. everyone is just as good as you. you gotta work harder. you start questioning yourself. most of us have been there. i know i have. as and bs in grade school. get to a tougher high school. totally different animal. Every kid is smart. I never had to work this hard in my life to keep up. what im saying is, sometimes things come naturally to people. whether its sports, science, math, anything. but eventually you are gonna have to work hard to go far in it. you cant rely on athletic ability. eventually you gotta understand the mental side.

Alert: Cordell Broadus Quits UCLA Football

Agu. 14 -- Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, has decided to quit UCLA football, but will remain at the school, according to sources...

Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, has decided to hang up his football cleats, according to sources.

Broadus, who was a four-star receiver prospect from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman and would have been an incoming freshman, hadn’t reported to UCLA’s fall camp in San Bernardino, which started Monday. According to sources, he hadn’t contacted UCLA since camp started.

He is admitted to UCLA, and attended UCLA’s summer session, so he’ll be able to remain enrolled and attend UCLA.

According to sources close to the situation, it was more than likely a matter of Broadus "wanting to do his own thing," since his father had always pushed him to play football.

This is, of course, the second son-of-a-rapper issue for UCLA in the last several months. P. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a sophomore defensive back on the team, and P. Diddy had an altercation with the UCLA strength and conditioning coach, but charges weren’t pursued by the LA District’s Attorney’s Office. Combs is still on the team and participating in fall camp.

What a dumb ass nikka man:mindblown:

Snoop failed as a father :snoop:

Cordell is gonna regret quitting years down the line. I can't front, reading this shyt got me hot right now :pacspit:

My retort to that is: How do you know he's not better in something else? I just find this all to be speculative juncture when nothing has been officially said from the university; even then, as if he couldn't be a good film student. I understand your train of thought, therefore, I'm not coming at you, but I just don't understand the level of hate as if football "was his only way out." He has a life ahead of him that most desire, and I can't fault him for pursuing his final destination.

That's assuming that Snoop is on board with his son's decision to quit football

I dont know Cordell i only watched that docu series and followed him on IG. My opinion is he got spoiled and didnt want to put in work at the next level. It's no sense to have that kind of talent and not wanna do something with it. It's the same thing when i see a dude 6-7 not balling. He rather work in a cubicle or some crap. People need to realize when they have a GIFT and run with it. This guy Cordell wants to take the easy route. He doesnt want to put in the blood, sweat and tears on that football field. Ask yourself this. how many kids from the inner city would quit football cause they wanna study film? EXACTLY. Dudes from the city are hungry and will take no prisoners on that field. cordell just doesnt have that mentality. LAZY

Just because you're tall doesn't mean you have skills. Some people don't have coordination.
