Yeah they were definitely banking on the latinas to show out for this movie. Like black women did for The Little Mermaid. But even with an original story I doubt that people would be interested in Snow White.
They should just make new stories. There's so many opportunities for that! I find race swapping so lazy. Then again I'm in my 40s so another remake wasn't appealing to me.
I don’t know too many latinas that actually like Rachel Zegler. And I live in California.

I agree with what Double Toasted said. Snow White being made in 1937 just didn’t resonate with this generation. Mostly only baby boomers and gen X had connection to that movie.
I don't think it has anything to do with the time it came out. Snow White's character and story just aren't that interesting.
The first Cinderella movie came out in 1950. Yet, Cinderella is still popular with girls today.
Obviously plenty of factors at play with its performance, but I think a lot of it has to do with how run-of-the-mill these Disney remakes have become. Gotta make the audience feel like they’re a part of something special. This wasn’t even half-assed.
