While there is already a thread about this, it's mixed with the one for the 2013 movie. So I figured I'd start a clean one.
I just watched the whole first season in like a week. I like this show a lot, that last few episodes of the season were very strong.
What are your thoughts on this show so far?

Season finale was fire.

Some of the episodes on this show feel like filler, but they finish the season of strong both times.

Show and concept are both dope - though I wish they'd casted a stronger black male lead. Layton comes off as an empowered elementary school gym teacher.

end of season two was brilliant.
the scenes of the orginal departue were good too.
mama's lift scenes were very well done.
