He will get that because he deserves it for his play and off court contributions. Being realistic, this group isn't doing shyt lol, they have reached their peak, only thing is to fully reset or pray a superstar joins AD after Bron retires.

The next coach has to be the coach for the future.

He deserves it for the revenue he brings in but if they pay him, I don't want to hear from anybody about trades or contending. It's not happening when him and Brow are taking up over 2/3 of the salary cap.

At least be knowledgeable about the cap.. The Lakers are an over the cap team. Him taking a paycut does nothing. Rob messed up in the margins. Probably should have kept Beasley and Bamba for salary that they could have used at the trade deadline.

That's been more of the issue than Bron/AD's salary. It's that this team hasn't been able to properly manage the salary filler contracts that they do have so they can have flexibility.
