The fact that she wants a thug and not you or your friend's friend seems to have really gotten under you guys' skin. Maybe not, but those text show that you really wanted to try to hurt her feelings or something.

No, we are saying they are probably similar type of people because before she gave him the go ahead to have sex, HE was after her and couldn't get any play. She is clearly ratchet. Like attracts like. I just find it funny when guys pretend to be so proper/non-ratchet but they only go after ratchet women (it's usually because they are ratchet too).

here is the thing, you could still fck her, what happens is, females do listen, if you are persistent and have a plan, they would come back, especially when its not working out for them in another relationship.
a buddy had a girl throw herself at him, she sent nude pictures and he passed/paused her...even though he already did her, the first time they met. That second time they met, dude played down her horniness, she said, she had no panties on, talking sexy, he should have banged her, but her looser ex (who she was roommate with) started calling asking where she was, and she freaked. The using another chick to get a chick you want, works. He kept macking on her, said he had another girl lined up, which he did and then told her he would take care of her much better (she had broken a leg and not been to the hospital for followup checkup - smh), and proposed some options - which she liked. Out the blue, few months later, she sending text, saying, she needs him to bang her. He ignored her, it too late, but now he has more options. And, she was probably texting because she needed an ego boost.
You really trying to save her and thats what nice guys do. Deep inside you like her. The sad thing is she does not know what she can get, and deserve and what she should expect in a relationship.
She should have just come out and say she has a baby.
You could still get her if you play nice, and if you cold about it, if she is pregnant and clean - no need for condoms.
to those getting at OP for "chasing" the girl, i disagree with you guys. I don't think dude is hurt over her not wanting to mess with him before. I think he feels a certain way about her trying to scheme on him. and maybe he did a little too much on the texts but that shyt was still funny as fukk (especially the loaded lux battle part)
