How Does Marriage or Remarriage Affect Child Support Payments?

Generally speaking, when a parent remarries, the new marriage does not affect previous child support orders. The only income that should be included when calculating child support payments is that of the biological parents. The income of either parent's new spouse should not be considered when estimating how much child support will be received or paid.

If anybody going through this, especially if they got the house too :to:

they cut off alimony if they remarry, child support is for the CHILD allegedly...:manny:
I forgot about alimony, so I pray she get married again to take that payment off and save a little money. The child should also be taken care of by the new husband also, because he will be with them the whole time. Life is hard man.
