Adam Lambert is a homosexual. He confirmed it himself on the cover of People magazine shortly after his Idol win. That confession in itself closed the gates to him having a world wide demographic/fan base from both sexes. No straight man is going to listen to music by an openly gay male artist singing about other men that he is in love with and/or is sleeping with.

Thugga is a hetrosexual man with a number of kids. His fanbase covers both sexes and all walks of life. There has been no questions of his sexuality by people who are real fans and know what's up. Again, like you've already stated what he is doing on his album cover is a gimmick and a good one if you ask me. Controversy = people talking which = a high number of sales.
