Beyond that....MJ can be called the GOAT and no one would seriously question you.
Can we honestly call Bey the GOAT singer? This includes men AND women. Does she top Michael Jackson or Elvis on popularity, raw talent etc? Whitney was a better singer along with Aretha. I can't say that Bey is objectively better than Sam Cooke as a singer.
In terms of sustained success she's definitely on the short list but you can't say she's clearly the best singer or dancer so her status is more about achievement than a single defining trait. Her talent is top notch but many of her songs are forgettable....mainly recently.....she does have plenty if you go back a bit.
Would argue she is one of the most gifted vocalist to debut the last 40 or so years
Who's the better singer is largely subjective but she objectively has a larger vocal range than Sam equal to that of Aretha ....
One of the greatest female performers to do it... she has the full package singing, dancing, stage presence

Is a big humanitarian....changed the way albums dropped one could argue...
For me she is of the same vein as a Tina or Whitney (to a lesser extent)...
