$2,000 a show is decent money brehs.

if they hustle right they could make an extra $1,000 on merch and $1,000 for a guest verse with a local MC and other hustles too.

all while doing something they love doing.

fukk AB though

This

and it's clear to see that most of you dudes don't really know the side of the business like that

if you honestly think these rap dudes gettin large cake off shows cause they SAY THEY DO then you are on some shyt

you can get dudes for a decent $$$

and yea they can definitely live off their performances.

5G's is like average money for performers unless they are on the A teir

Thats a lot of money if you do 100 shows a year, friend. You make more than the average coli IT guy.

LOL@ doing a hundred shows in a year for 2k a pop forgetting about travel, hotel, manager fees, food, paying the road crew/dj/sound guys etc. If you can draw at least 500 people to a venue 5k should be the bare minimum.

And I doubt his vocals would last if he did 100 shows a year.

pros and cons

maybe his business game is that of an a$$hole, but i've never seen a breh see bronson live and complain about his show. he treats his fans pretty well at the shows. my boy saw him and said he was especially good with this guy at the show in a wheelchair, brought him on stage and shyt

we never know what these rappers are like outside they shows and in negotiations :manny:

Just read this story from someone on another board about a show from last night....

"So I drove six hours with a couple buddies of mine down to the beach in NC to see Action Bronson last night, paid $25 a ticket, and he never even came on stage. The host and the opening acts kept coming back on stage obviously trying to kill time until Bronson showed. He was to get $1500 in cash and a $500 check when he got to the venue, and he was so upset about the check that he decided it wasn't worth performing for his fans over. He was afraid of the check bouncing, which is understandable but not when it's from a reputable music group. The promoters said Action also asked for baby wipes on his ryder, and he was legitimately pissed off about not having them either. The show was packed out (not quite sure it was a sell-out) and you could feel the mood drop instantly as soon as the promoter came on stage and told the crowd the deal (this was around midnight; doors were at 8:00). Everyone is getting a refund, so that's nice. I also doubt it was because of "janky promoters" like Action is claiming, because the same music group brought GZA, Mobb Deep, Big Boi, and Mac all recently or in the near future, and they have a solid reputation in the Southeast.
Now, I'm a huge Bronson stan and this shyt was enough to make me lose my respect for him. He also told me to drink cum on twitter after I drunkenly voiced my displeasure, although that's typical of him. The openers really held it down even though they knew something was wrong. If you guys wanna check out @StrangerDay or @CNancer they really tried to make the show as best as possible given the situation, plus the host, Lee Hustle, came all the way from Brooklyn and still held it down(plus he had good tree)"

Im gonna just say this, you should be mad at the venue for not having his money not him. It wasn't really an a$$hole move. He has the right to not perform if he hasn't been paid in full. I know for a FACT Rick Ross once got like $50,000 and still wouldn't perform so him not performing over $1500, is just like you going to work every week and the boss sayin hey might not pay you this week! :umad:

Man you ever see Bronson live? Laziest show ive ever seen. Minimal effort. He could do a show every day and still sound the same :bryan:
I saw him in DC and it was the worst performance ive ever seen. I like bronsons music too, but his show :aicmon:
