LOL@ doing a hundred shows in a year for 2k a pop forgetting about travel, hotel, manager fees, food, paying the road crew/dj/sound guys etc. If you can draw at least 500 people to a venue 5k should be the bare minimum.

And I doubt his vocals would last if he did 100 shows a year.

apart from DJ and manager fees the promoter pays for everything on your list.

he wasn't solo, and dude with him(forgot his name at the moment, but he posted on before the pilgrimage) got around 7..

travel was provided as well.. he puts on a good show, and brings out a lot of older heads so its really not a stretch..

have 3 or 4 booked shows a month and just rap for 30 minutes to a hour=6 to 8,000 a month.

Um... no. He gets maybe $800-1000 after each show.

Most of the artists are NOT clearing more than $2500-3000 a month even doing 6-10 shows. These rappers are paid by investors who supply them with budgets they have to pay back. JUST like a major. Hell, a lot of artists don't even have their travel paid for.

You know... it really isn't THAT hard to make $50k+ a year now. You could work offshore at certain locations and make more than these rappers and only work 2 weeks out of the month.
