Giannis for all his faults is right there and the Lakers probably win a ring with him there in place of AD. Won't put the Joker over him because of the defensive side of the ball but his playmaking and passing just might balance that out.

I think at this point it comes down to team construction between Embiid, Jokic, and AD.

I think AD is the best big to pair with an elite passer/perimeter creator like LeBron, Luka, Harden, etc. but the worst if you needed someone to carry a team and be the #1 option. He's the best at finishing what others can create for him, but I don't think he's on Embiid's level in terms of consistently creating for himself, and he's not on Jokic's level of being able to create for others and elevate his teammates.

Embiid has to wait for a guard to feed him just like AD though...

How did it go with AD when he had to carry a team on his own instead of being the 1B to the greatest player in the history of the sport? AD never had close to a team that Giannis had and he played in the East. You want AD to compete with Solomon Hill and Etwaun Moore starting.
