For me I'm gonna 'try' to cut down my heavy usage of samples but to be honest it's probably not gonna happen, every time I hear some dope old soul joint I can't help myself. I'm gonna give it a go but so far I think my non sample joints make me

I wrestle with this issue all the time, to sample or not to sample! I don't know why I feel like it has to be either/or, but I'm always switching up like fukk it no more sampling, the a couple months later I'm looking for samples.

Exactly, I've tried the non sample route and I'm never content with the results so go back to sampling, I suppose at the end of the day I make music to please myself, a good beat is a good beat at the end of the day, just would be cool to say that is 100% my composition sometimes.

Expand my Genre's I want to be a master of all but mainly ive just done hiphop /electro experimental.

I need to get my House/ rnb game up as well.

also i need to actually learn how to play the keyboard (2handed) lol

Well I don't like to be direct with resolutions mainly because I don't know how the year will turn out, so i'll just say to progress as far as possible this year. I want to take my production to another level.
