So anybody got any beat making resolutions for 2014??

My beat resolution is to MAKE BEATS........

I have been working on the same live instrumental album for the past 7 years I am waiting on some paper so I can buy a new bass and also get a regular electric guitar and put that shyt to bed

Also have a phone full of verses I need to spit... again I've been writing for this tape for the last 4-5 years Before I could use the excuse of having work, but now I work from home, been working from home since May and just haven't got around to putting my shyt together

Also have a long laundry list of drums to steal... mainly snares. I wanna learn more about pitch matching drums as well

I just need to put a timeline together and get the shyt done

In gonna start making 2 a day in Feb. I've been using this entire month to stock up on new drums and shyt like that. Getting better at my piano chops and learning some new chord progressions.

The new year is approaching brehs What are you looking forward to, working on, improving in, etc... for 2014?

(1) Work more on mixing...Typically, I just use the FL Studio presets when I mix, I will try to learn how to EQ and Compress on my own, and get my own ears to find parameters that sound good for me...

(2) Automation...I have been using FL Studio for 13 years, and I have never automated anything...I will learn how to do my own automation clips, and spice up my production...
