I thought it was just one writer that talked negatively about durant/westbrook
I can see it being a joke in hindsight. At the time, I even made photoshop joke about. I felt like he was serious because of the way he used to carry himself with the media. I think the pressure may be affecting his demeanor and plus he looks over at Westbrook, who gives no fukks about the media and plays carefree and puts in work on a nightly basis. There's no point or benefit to playing the nice guy if that's not who you really are.

I don't think he's referred to himself as the servant since that interview lol. I think he basically said he's fine just being KD, but if he had to pick one he'd go with The Servant. It was really poorly thought our and lame considering the historical context of what being a servant means to black people.
