I'll say this I don't love all of lupes music and Kendrick has a better catalogue than Lupe. However as straight raw spittas there might be only a handful of MC's on Lupe's level. He has just been up and down while Kendrick is more consistent.
foh, dude has 3-5 good songs tops

He can't talk about it...he won't discuss it. Why? Cuz he got 20 bodies, cuz he moved more coke than jadakiss (highly doubt it). Even jay talks about the chit he did/done. What has lupe done that has classified his ability to talk about what he has done. Chilly was the guy that had the story behind his name. I don't care if he knows karate or any of that.

Kendrick > Lupe btw.

Lupe > rat face, easily.

And the fact is, Lupe coulda easily been in jail with Chilly, it's supposedly all kind of audio with him talking in codes that was being used in trial. It ain't about whether he was superthug or not...it's about the fact that despite the little hints about the game in his early music sounding pretty authentic, he has pretty much shied away from incriminating himself and setting the tone for the Hip Hop task force to even look his way by fronting or flexing about his past.

Most rappers start off rapping about normal shyt and then pick up the thug image for sales and attention...Lu went in reverse, to the point where you have people saying he should go back to the gangsta shyt. Now i'm sure this has to do with the fact that he's creative enough and conscious enough to not have to but it partly seems like he went that route out of necessity. If FNF was indeed started with drug money it would dumb as fukk to be flagrant about your activities WHILE being investigated. You can't compare that to Jay and his situation.

Keep in mind that this nikka:

The street value of the stash was about $1 million. Investigators believed that Patton, who was arrested in 2003, was dealing drug since the late 1980s, years before he and Fiasco began their music careers.

"There is a large amount of money that he received from the sales of heroin. And he was able to start up a record company." said Assistant State's Attorney Patrick Coughlin, who charged Patton and his wife Inita with running a drug enterprise that would have supplied more than 900 grams of heroin to buyers. Although nine other people were charged with the Pattons, court records show that one person was acquitted in the case, while the others either pled guilty or were convicted.

Fiasco, who was never charged, was at Patton's home at the time of the arrest. The rapper took the stand during the trial and testified that he had several recorded phone conversations with the Patton in which they talked about splitting up "whole yellow” and "whole red” ones. A witness for the prosecution who was directly involved in Patton's drug operation testified that the colors referred to the mixing and prepping of $10 heroin packets, the Sun-Times reported.

Fiasco, who denied any drug involvement, countered the witness' claim in his testimony for the defense by saying the colors referred to the mixing and prepping of music tracks.

Yeah them nikkas at FNF were in too deep

Why do nikkas think Lupe reintroduced himself as a skateboarding nerd obsessed with giant robots? :mjlol:

That nikka went leaps and bounds to throw away that gangsta image in his early career

Wait so these theories of him catching bodies and being heavily involved in the drug game are true?
