bar for bar none of those dudes are on Lupe's level. i think Royce when fully focused is easily the best mc in that crew, I don't think Royce even at his best is on Lupe's level with the bars tho. that wordplay man, sh!t aint human, you comparing humans to him, stop.
Everybody in Slaughterhouse can see Lupe, heaven forbid they ever
get on a track together. The difference in skill level will be painfully apparent.
And if you don't think Crooked I or Joe Budden are right there
with Royce then I don't know what to tell you.
And while I'm at it :
Ka ? Easily as impressive as Lupe doesn't get half the props
he deserves. Word play ? Metaphors ? EASILY as impressive as Lupe.
El-P ? His metaphors off the wall and crazy writing is EASILY as impressive as Lupe.
Elzhi ? Without a single doubt IS EASILY as nice as Lupe.
Pharoahe Monch ? Again, would eat Lupe's lunch.
K-Rino ? As a song writer I'd put Lupe ahead of him but if we're talking "bars"
then without a doubt this man could see Lupe.
Killah Priest ? Again, he's seeing Lupe.
And it doesn't stop there for me.
Lupe is great but the way dudes talk in the booth about
how there's no one as nice as him, all I can do is
