As much as Kanye doesn't appeal to me at all, I don't see how you can't say this. And if 808s wasn't your thing (it's not really mine) then I think you have to respect Dropout, Registration, Graduation, and Fantasy. That's a 4 disc catalog right there better than most people will ever come close to. Kanye is almost no debate the artists of the 00's decade.

808's is actually a well produced album, its tough to get some of the instrumentals yet all one has to do is listen to his vh1 special where all the songs were performed live and with an orchestra kind of like late orchestration which is a live version of late registration with an orchestra. Lyrically the content of the album wont reach you unless youve recently had a breakup or death, or loss but it is very well produced. For a concept album it's a win for Kanye, just because you don't hear music like that is structured like the 808's album like you would trap or pop, regular rap records doesn't mean it isnt good. People were thrown off by love lockdown, yet heartless did numbers, amazing got a strong push during the nba playoffs and what not. Its one of those things, if it were easy everyone would do it. Ye did it successfully and it hasn't been bitten or attempted again.
