Rickey smiley was robbed in Birmingham in 1995, and when he was taken to the hospital he was begging the doctors and staff not to let him die because he wasn't a gang banger. I knew the story because I use to watch his reality show but I never knew that he was literally pleading for his life at the hospital. Like regardless that should never have to happen but it does when your black.
