My bad...it's called Homie Drop-off...There's an entire subbreddit dedicated to it.
A homie delivery is when they drop you at the front and drive off ..
A night shift nurse told me this when I was driving Uber, he didn't specify black though
Either way, what the fukk is the problem, as long as the man gets treated, it's semantic and heresy
You think someone making jokes like this is going to give their best efforts to save a life?

Cool storyYou don’t plan to last that long as a member huh? @YaThreadFloppedB!
Nah it's racistEither way the shyt is inappropriate and is supposed to be part of the dark humor of emergency medicine, but it’s not necessarily about black men.
It’s whenever a friend of the victim drops them off unannounced at the ER. It’s a big deal because not every hospital is a trauma center with surgeons and specialized staff on call to deal with such calls.
To make things worse the facility does not receive a heads up that a gun shot victim is enroute. One of the paramedic jobs along with treatment is to notify the receiving facility with an ETA, so the staff is prepared to handle such call.
I’m not saying the shyt makes it right, just shedding light on a typical incident.
BetNah it's racist
Yea I remember him telling this story.
Sad how intertwined the street thug lifestyle is with black culture generally speaking.
It's almost like the DEFAULT SETTING for the black man is a gangbanger or drugdealer.
It's almost like you have to PROVE your not one of them first before you're seen as a normal law abiding person.
