So are the Knicks really better off than the Zeke years?

i find it hilarious that there isn't any backlash or Knicks fans/media talking shyt about Walsh to this day because of what he did with Lance Stephenson.....like they do with Zeke. It's so obvious that Walsh purposely passed on him to give him to the Pacers & drafted LANDRY FIELDS AND ANDY RAUTINS!

- As if Zeke ruined some kinda potential title contender on the rise.......nah
- As if Zeke signed Allan Houston to a max contact off a knee injury like Layden/Dolan did.....nah
- As if Zeke screwed up the '09 lottery pick by drafting Jordan Hill when there was no need or fit for him here because he didn't get Rubio or Steph Curry....no plan C?

Yes, Donnie Walsh cleared a ton of cap space...hooray. You traded for Tracy McGrady. You did the Rockets a favor. Most GMs should be able to do what he did. People make it seem like he was a hero for taking on the final years of bad contracts to clear cap space.

Either way tho...it's all about Dolan.

My brother's keeper
I damn near forgot about Walsh slithering back to indy. But yeah, my point was Zeke was a very public whipping boy, and you don't hear that noise despite only one playoff game win.

At the end of the day though Stephenson probably doesn't develop with the Knicks, or they just include him in the deal for Melo.

2009 Draft was :mindblown:
This was one of the biggest fukk up moves I've ever seen.
This CAC passed on DeRozan, Holliday, Lawson, Teague, Jennings.

Lance woulda failed in NY as much as I thought he shoulda been a Knick.

You think Knick fans dikkride Shumpert? Shiiiiiiiitttttt remember how passionate Knicks fans were about Landry Fields?

It was like "How about throwing in Landry Fields for (insert superstar player trade proposal)"

Knick fans: :childplease: :whoa: not Landry. He's gonna be a star. "

He coached a team of Z-Bo, David Lee, Steph (though he didn't play much), Jamal Crawford, Wilson Chandler and Nate Robinson to 23 wins. That guy was a fukking catastrophe. Stop sticking up for this clown.
