No, they don't. The disparity between black males and females is the largest gender gap in this country. What you are doing is downplaying the accomplishments of black males.

There's a reason why black men make more than black women even though there are twice as many black women in college as black men, more black women working than black men, and 9 times as many of you in jail as black women. Male privilege is real and verifiable. Yes, it is stunted immeasurably because you are black in a white supremacist society, but it definitely still exists.

I am not interpreting anything incorrectly. There are stats that show women in the same fields receive less pay than men in the same fields. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the stats that takes individual pay from each group and averages that across the numbers of each group. Your position is that there are more men in higher paying positions than black women. My supposition is that there aren't possibly enough black men in higher paying jobs than black women to change the standard mean as much as it is changed. My assertion is that women are being systemically paid less for the same positions which WOULD account for the pay difference.
