The original version was the one that could have been a street banger...the album versions beat wasn't strong enough for those two greats, I wonder who produced this version ...it sounds a lil like Preemo but i cant confirm it.







i wouldn't be suprised if 2000 bc suffered from problems with sample clearance because one has to ask why would he go with the inferior versions?

It's about a 3.75-4.25 depending on the day. I think Canibus' problem with production is that he needed someone like RZA, or today is Ye, who can make beats that compliment his voice. Most of the tracks he was battling the beats, that's why they are hit or miss.

You know what I find hilarious about these kinda "such album was slept on but is actually a classic" thread? 99% of them are flat out wrong. 50% of them are cats bigging up obvious weedplates.

How does one hear "Mic-Nificent" and think: "yeah, that was a classic album" LMAO

nikkas know what classic is and isn't. We were a lot more objective in our day when it came to albums and hip hop in general.
