Trust, I don't care about sales. But when cats start overrating the importance and relevance of an artist, especially to put down another artist who's the mirror image of the one they're bigging up, I'm gonna bring up sales and chart position to set the record straight. Never said Rocafella was moving the most units, but they held their own amongst the other labels, and nearly everyone on that label made noise. They had a legit case for having some of the most popular artists in the game at the time with Jay, Kanye, and Dipset. When your proverbial weed carriers like Peedi Crakk and Young Gunz somehow end up on on a decent charting song or two, your label altogether is strong.
Fukking Memphis Bleek had records back then . In fact, I'm calling this niqqa Bleek Mill from now on cause that's pretty much who he is. Yelling mad loud and getting placement as the boss' right hand man. If he can have even a Beanie Sigel-esque run, I'll give him all the props in the world. Until then the dude is not relevant as a big name rapper.
