He was really good as shadow in Mo Betta Blues too..... but he was just a supporting actor in that....

and he played Nino Brown so well, he made him a part of pop culture for almost 25 years now

Mentioning Will in the same breath as legit black actors like Fishburne and Sam Jackson is preposterous. Will's bank speaks for itself (and let's be real, even that ain't what it used to be), but let's not fool ourselves.

As for the topic at hand, Wesley is a great black actor but I don't think he's a lock for GOAT. That's Fishburne...maybe Don Cheadle.

Love Snipes but Denzel is the best black actor since Sidney.. My man has two Oscars working with C-grade (sans Spike) directors his whole career.

I like will, but anyone saying his better than snipes is outta their mind. To be honest i think ive seen him play and play well more varied roles then any of these nikkas mentioned. His definately top 5

Wesley Snipes is a talented dramatic actor but his more successful movies have been in action movies (starting with Passenger 57)... so that's what he's known for and is typecast in. He's a great physical actor as well because he's trained in various martial arts. He's done a ton of forgettable roles throughout his career...

Bruce Willis and Antonio Banderas are pretty much the same thing except they've gotten/done much better roles than Wesley has... Banderas in particular gets typecast in action flicks here in the US but falls back to doing solid dramatic performances when he works directors out of Spain.
