As long as Reigns sticks to short and direct promos, I think he'll avoid getting the Cena type of backlash that a lot of people expect him to encounter.

Doing 10 finisher kickouts a match several times a year doesnt make you a ring master. Crispness and control of the ring does. Cena is athletic but doesnt have a knack for wrestling. Or at least what he tries to do.

Reigns needs a long match outside of Brock or a gimmick like HIAC before ill say hes better than Cena.

If Reigns can add in a bit more variety in his offense, he's just as good of a worker as anyone on the main roster not named Cesaro, Owens, or healthy Rollins.

There's waaay too many amazing wrestlers that aren't crisp to say that's a factor when judging the quality of their work. shyt Terry Funk might be one of the least crisp motherfukkers ever and he migh legit be the GOAT wrestler.

Control of the ring I completely agree. Making you shyt look believable (regardless if it's a punch or a 450 splash) is more important than crispness imo, and that's something Cena has always struggled with and this year is on an all time low.
