Atlanta To New Orleans
Report: Los Angeles wants Falcons

Now it's probably just Blank using LA as a bargaining chip in order to get the city to help finance the new open air stadium he wants... but if Falcons fans were as supportive as they should be, then we should have no problem with this issue. But even Atlanta is skeptical of getting a new stadium... :whoo:

If the Falcons moved to LA though... I wouldn't be all that mad because I'd understand it's just business. Goodell and the NFL brass would rather have LA with a team than Atlanta... and maybe no other team is budging as much.

But hey if it happens... it happens. Best of luck to the organization. :manny:

that's not even a good bargaining chip for a new stadium. ATL is a top 10 market and the biggest in the south east. they not moving anywhere and anyone with a little knowledge knows that. and if the falcons did move ATL would get a new team soon after. those fakkits just trying to escape the ass whoopins the Saints put on em :pachaha:

Lol minus your last statement I agree with the rest. Aurthur is trying to just light the fire under city hall, the mayor is actually working hard to get this deal done. I don't think we need a new stadium, but whatever, it's only gonna cost the tax payers pennies in taxes. :yeshrug:

The NFL is TRYING to fit something in the LA market. Anything. And the worst thing they can do is send an already fragmented, fractured team there to get fan support. Jags? Titans? Vikings? :beli:

ATL is already a good team on paper and can be easily moved. The NFL right now would honestly rather deal with a LA market than an ATL market in terms of potential revenue. And I'm from the A and ATL ain't even a top 10 market...

Oh and by the way, Falcons still lead the all-time series between them and the Saints. :umad:

No one is trying to get burned like Miami did with the Marlins. No one. Those cats got robbed BLIND paying for that state-of-the-art stadium only to have almost the entire team traded after ONE season. All that money for now a totally rebuilding team with mediocre attendance.

And Miami got money to blow. And they're pissed. What you think gonna happen in Atlanta? :russ:

My Pops Forever RIP
This is what sports teams do.

Want a 9 figure stadium with all the good stuff that comes with it.

Ask the city to pay knowing the city can't.

Hold the franchise hostage

either get your stadium and piss everybody off or leave and piss everybody off.

It's the ugliest aspect of sports.

they aren't as desperate as you think for LA. and NFL wise ATL market includes all of GA and parts of AL (despite ATL being top 10 alone) so they'd never leave it bare.

Just like the Bucs being in Tampa was supposed to connect the entire Central Florida area yet they're blacked out half the time? You have Tampa, Orlando 2 hours away, Sarasota about 90 mins away... and the Bucs can't sell out for shyt.

I have NO love for the Saints but they draw season ticket holders from Baton Rouge, Biloxi, Alexandria, Monroe, Lake Charles, etc... more than enough to fill that stadium week after week.

Let's not even talk about how bad the Chargers situation is getting lol. It's clear they can hold NO interest in So Cal. Whatsoever. People are just tired of the nonsense of that team.

So yes, moving the Falcons would leave it bare. But other markets just as big can't do shyt and Atlanta could easily get an another team in its place.

why do these billionaire owners always try to back the fans into a corner to get a stadium funded by taxpayers? how does this even benefit most taxpayers? build a fukking new stadium for 8 home games a year :what:
