The defense, yea it can get better.....but I've been watching this squad for a minute and they can lock down when required......if you revisit this last series you can see moments when they did just that.....they were up on the pacers by 25 or 28 and just took their foot off the gas .....and still won. Cavs are trolling a bit....maybe too confident but definitely can do it when they have too......unlike Portland or the Clippers.
So both Cavs and Dubs swept their first round series with relative ease...

oh man nba can make a storyline out of anything, it still dont change the fact that warriors and cavs are making them the most money this year. News media were constantly focused on these two teams, everything leads to them preferring of these two teams meeting in the finals for 3rd time
can you imagine if warriors lost again how much their value would drop? KD joining 73 win team and losing in western finals? If I am Silver I would be mad as hell. Spurs are nice and everything but they would not generate the same ratings as the warriors team.

Nah, the Cavs are a CLEAR lock. They're both 95%+ though. But the Warriors will face a clearly better team in the WCF (Rockets or Spurs, whichever), and while they should beat either, they're also dealing with injury issues with Durant (Barnes and Livingston as well) and nobody knows yet what's going to happen with Kerr. I wouldn't trust Mike Brown (or Steve Kerr, either, considering what happened last Finals) to make the critical adjustments DURING a tight game when momentum swings against them (I do trust their players and their shooting though).
