I'm trying to watch Hardcore Heaven 1997 but this fakkit that accompanies RVD and Sabu to the ring keeps blowing his whistle and annoying me. I dont understand why he kept doing it. why no one told him to chill, why no one told him to leave, or why no one shoved it down his fukking throat at some point. There is no way you can watch this and not be annoyed by this dude. Maybe i'm the only one that finds it THIS annoying but dude made me want to skip their matches entirely. I'm not saying he ruined the entire thing but for the matches he is involved in, but it was like hearing someone take their nails to a chalk board every five seconds.

I didn't get into ECW until they made their debut on TNN in 1999. I kept hearing about it on message boards but living in Dallas at the time we never got it so I missed their glory years of 1995-1998. It was ok but when one of our local channels got Hardcore tv in late 2000 it wasn't as good because they were clearly dying at that point. I saw a few matches on compilation tapes of ECW from RF video back in 2000 so I saw a little. I've had the network for over two years now and I've yet to watch a ppv because I'm afraid of how much butchering they did to the music.

funny you mention that. you do have some ecw heads/hhh haters that feel trips ripped off shane douglas franchise gimmick.

i don't believe that and people ask why would trips even mimic from a dude who works at target but you can definitely, see the similarities between the two especially in the promos.

Crazy as fukk that I have never watched an ECW PPV even with seeing so many of their shows. fukkery overload and this is just the first show and the third match

yeah ECW had a great run...don't watch that shyt on the network though...they really took the soul out of it. Chairshots getting cut out ...Sandman not coming out to Metallica...New Jack not having Natural Born Killas playing throughout his entire match...Joel Gertner not saying some filthy shyt every show. Might need to see if I can find me a torrent for them shows...ECW was crack for lil bit.

There was a Hardcore TV episode where he had a match with Beulah and was bleeding out like crazy. I think it was in 1996 or 1997.

Bill Alfonso is an underrated manager IMO. The constant whistle blowing is great. He made it work. Dude even looks like a weasel. I love how he managed RVD and Sabu at the same time, two guys who hated each others' guts. Their tag matches fighting over who gets the pinfall.
