The problem was, the old guys were the Champs like Sting and Mick Foley. Booker, Steiner, Nash and Hall were the tag team Champs. And they constantly re-did old WCW storylines....with the same guys (Main Event Mafia=Billionaires Club, Immortal=NWO).

But at the end of the day, WWE is doing the same thing as TNA. Using recognisable names to create a buzz or attract attention. My girl hasn't watched in years and was like when the Dudley Boyz came out. Rock was pushing 40 when he beat Punk but I'll let you cook.
