The WWE released a press statement that it wasn't planned(ie no blading)....Austin even said Brock was busted open "the hard way"...if that's true, then that's possibly the LUCKIEST moment in wrestling history for WWE. Because Brock bleeding at that point, from that spot took that match to a whole other level after that.
And if it wasn't planned it sure worked out well b/c it made it look like Roman saw the blood and suddenly recognized a chink in Brocks armor and thought to himself, "hey maybe I can do this!!"....and it made Lesnar look like an unbeatable Frankenstein monster who was suddenly very wobbly & showing weakness.
We've seen dudes rammed "headfirst" into the ringpost a zillion times, and it means nothing more than just another spot in the match. I can't imagine the subsequent flurry of Superman punches and Reigns other offense coming off as well as they did if not for Brock wearing the crimson mask.
