Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Chalmers is gone and Cole isn't a point guard.. They are 100% going to let Chalmers walk and have been trying to trade Cole all week..

PG was the least of your worries, the lack of wing athleticism and zero big men on the Heat is just :whoa:

The center prospects on the market are pretty much awful save for Gasol and Gortat, and the wings aren't much better, there are PGs that you could have gotten on the market though, some of them pretty cheap too.

I don't get what the Heat are going to do, especially if Wade doesn't opt out.

Malta, are you seriously saying the Heat lost to the Mavs and Spurs because of size and lack of rebounds? Were we watching the same thing family?

I didn't say that in that post, but the Heat do lack big men, and the Spurs murdered you on the offensive glass. That is something lost on everyone it seems, the Spurs averaged damn near 10 offensive rebounds per game in that series, you can't give an offense as good as them any 2nd chance opportunities. Duncan, Diaw and Kawhi had more offensive rebounds by themselves than the Heat as a team.

You had no rim protection vs the Spurs, and with Wade being so shytty on defense anyone that got past the 1st or 2nd defensive rotation had nothing to worry about once they got in the lane. You lack athleticism on the wing and rim protection in the paint, but Bron wanted Napier :ld: Wade isn't getting any younger and his decline on the defensive end will probably be even more apparent next season.

Honestly we have holes at every position, so I don't have a problem taking the best available player which Napier was on many boards.. I don't even know what quality NBA ready bigs were available at 26 and down.. I wouldn't have been mad if we kept Hairston but it is what it is..

Kaman and Okafor are vet free agent options and the thought is maybe they can pull one of them out of a trash heap like we did with Birdman and get a decent year from them.

If Wade opts in then its thanks for the memories to Bron and rebuilding time

Bron has alot of say in the roster moves... he had the same control in Cleveland...but when he loses yall blame his teammates. It's the situation he put himself in.

Pick makes no sense with lebrons style of play

Smh. Imo PJ Jairston >> Shabazz Napier as a player and as a role for the heat.

If Hairston was still in college, he would have been a top ten pick. This nikka dropped 40 twice in the Dleague...if he did that in the NCAA he would have been making National headlines. Dude averaged 22 on 45% and 40% from the three. Other than "character issues" I don't see how this guy fell all the way to the Heat.

See, I think they should have just kept Hairston, and if they wanted a PG look at Collison or Mills, both are accustomed to playing without the ball in their hands. It's not like Napier is Steph Curry, dude had the ball in his hands a lot @ Uconn, adjusting to playing off the ball the majority of the time will take some time.

Kaman is horrendous on defense, and Okafor had a neck injury, you plan on going back to the finals with one of them when the Spurs could be waiting for you again?

We'll find out in 3 days if Wade will opt out or not :wow:

Hairston is definitely talented but defense in the DLeague is atrocious man, if they ever want to make that league a serious option for guys who don't want to go to college like what Cuban was saying they really need to clean that up. One of Shabazz's best assets is his perimeter shooting so that's kind of a wash there, Hairston's advantages would obviously be as a bigger and younger threat on the perimeter that the Heat don't have...but then Shabazz gives you another ballhandler and passer and everyone knows Hairston can't pass worth a damn. How much of Shabazz's ability to handle and create while playing in that Heat offense will obviously have to be seen.
