This is a great idea. Props to @Steezy for pushing for this, props to @Born2BKing for the thread and props to @Brooklynzson for the creation of a forum that's become my internet home.

I'd suggest having 2 Coli brehs who are personable but not completely in sync on most controversial topics - otherwise it'll devolve into a group think session where nothing is challenged. Baseless argument is bad, complete agreement is lame but mature and heated discussion is king.

Whenever the program has serious discussion, though, please set rules for what is accepted as credible talking points - brehs need to have sourced material to back up certain points and those links could be provided in the info section of the video.

There needs to be banners on the Coli whenever the videos are posted so there is a collective effort to have all of the coli watch the videos to improve viewership.

The videos need to have length restrictions - you want people, at least in the beginning, to be tempted to watch the videos and a 2 hour video garners the same harsh reaction as a wall of text.

I think people who make the best threads from each subdforum should have panel discussions about would-be threads.
Take forum discussion put them on video with a coli spin to it.

Honestly the format depends on what the goals are. I would outline the goals of the show before trying to figure out the format.

Is the show to appeal to coli users or to get new people to the coli or neither

I would do segments that are relevant to pop culture and relevant to the coli like:

"Smash or Pass"

"The Booth" - music talk
Is he c00nin... a debate on questionable black behavior
- something that is uplifting
something that is outlandish

and wrap it up from there... Go a guy and a girl with a rotating small cast of regular or semi-regular contributors. If you plan on sitting at a desk with two guys and a girl behind, I have a feeling it will come off as an everyday struggle ripoff that is not nearly as polished or well produced (and coming off of the Akademiks thread the other day it'll be a look like you are doing it to only capitalize off of his buzz)

@General Mills needs his own show on the channel before some cac steals his life story. An animated show about all of the Ls he's taken. At least give him a pilot. I'm sure he can write a pilot, we'd just need people for voices and people who can animate...

I remember @Walt or @Malta, one of those guys posted about their experiences of being a student athlete and it was really eye-opening stuff. Maybe if we had the money, maybe we should have a series where people travel to different cities and talk to Coli posters about their life experiences.

A Coli travelogue show would be dope, maybe have people with completely opposite personalities travel together and get into some fukkery. Send @Supreme Leader Reinscarf and @ADK to Siberia or something, see what kind of fukkery they get into.

Gaming is pretty big these days, and I do see huge threads in the Arcadium with people playing fighting and sports games. Maybe we should develop leagues with rankings and post matches on the channels. Someone can create hype videos and we can have posters cut promos on each other before matches.

I agree, we have some dope personalities here so I am sure we can find the right hosts. Hopefully we can get an audition video thread going very soon. @Steezy you want to work on that?

In terms of length, I think to begin with 30 minutes should suffice but that is a conversation in itself. I wouldn't be opposed to 45 minutes to an hour either, what ya'll brehs think?

The most important thing though will be content. How should we decide what is discussed? Is it the top featured threads of the week? Topics that are big in urban media in general? Forum gossip? I mean there are a lot of directions we can take it.

I'd like to get @AVXL to chime in. @JordanWearinThe45 you as well
