Cam Newton struggles to make the most basic of throws sometimes...as if he's always rushing even when he doesn't need to. He needs to calm down a bit and regain his confidence cuz he's obviously a shell of his former self right now.

The QB position doesn't really require athleticism. Its nice to have but there are more important things.
leadership
Poise
decision making
reading defenses
accurate passing
What makes a QB elite has very little to do with Athleticism.

disagree wholeheartedly here. With the amount of great pass rushers in the league athleticism is something you're gonna need unless your o-line is that nice. Most O-lines in the NFL aren't.
The ability to improvise and use athleticism is precisely why Rodgers is #1 right now. Everything else he doesn't really do any better than any of the other tier 0 QBs.
Just about all of the QBs that have been drafted except for like Ryan Mallet have this ability, it's like the next step in evolution.

Cam has the talent and intelligence its his 'woe is me attitude' that worries me, I understand putting pressure on yourself but Cam seems to beat himself up too much, which is weird as he appears very confident.
