Lol...Well you can pick them but don't be upset if they request to be traded or bounce during free agency...And ultimately the players do make their decision based on want...They either want the money being offered or the location.

Thats not what happened bruh and you know it. The trade deal was made the day BEFORE the draft for an unnamed player and the Lakers didn't tell Charlotte who to draft until 5min prior. They couldve drafted Iverson and Charlotte wasn't going to be able to keep that pick. They wanted Divac and Lakers asked Divac would he prefer Sac or Cha, he said Cha. Everyone was happy b/c Charlotte only wanted a big and saw no one in the draft. Lakers wanted cap room for Shaq and wanted a draft pick for Vlade. Kobe never said he didnt want to play like Eli.
