So can we all agree that Joe Flacco is an elite QB?

Reminds me a lot of Eli. He had an excellent run in the playoffs this year and he is most certainly money. The issue at hand is consistency though. You can't be elite off the strength of one run. People are just so reactionary and lazy with their analysis.

i'll say this about Eli last season, dude was great throughout the season even though the stats dont show it. He was a legit MVP candidate until that team started to fall apart in November and early December again.

I was referencing Eli after the first SB. Flacco is around the same age Eli was. They had similar reps as well...Guys with elite arms who are incosistent as fukk who you aren't sure a team can win with. The both went on a magical playoff runs (in great part due to defense and running game and just plain luck) and then everybody hopped on their nuts. Eli went right back to the inconsistency over the next few years. It's gonna be interesting to see where Flacco goes from here.

Eli did have quite the start to the year but he went into the shytter with the rest of the squad in midseason too. He found his level which is good with flashes of greatness but not truly great. No matter how many rings a guy like him or Flacco wins I will still take guys like Brady, Peyton, or ARod over them because you know what you are getting game in and game out no matter what is going on around them.
