In taking a global perspective of the impact on the culture and on the world, KIM didn't really do much.

It's hard to overstate how big Snoop was back then, non hip-hop heads knew him back in Central Africa 50 had a similar "cultural" impact, but far less, while it was non-existent for someone like KIM. KIM was "just" big in hip-hop circles, but even never at THAT level IMO. very few are in this discussion I think, basically Snoop, 50, DMX, maybe Jay-Z even though I don't remember RD running hip-hop when it dropped.
