If the netcode was even playable KOF would be as close to perfect as it gets.
They need to change NOTHING and add more characters to the greatness that is 13.
SF4 isn't as deep as King of Fighters. You HAVE to to go round by round character against character. Did you watch the last few SF4 finals? Blow outs.Im sorry does SF4 not exist in this universe or something? In KOF XIII You need to know 6 characters in each fight. your 3 and their 3. Usually they save their best character for last. Maybe you can burn through his first two but that last one is gonna cause a problem.
Let's say you barely make it and beat his third opponent. great you got him. Nah, fukk that. they're gonna switch up their first character and use someone else. Now you hope you know a 7th character and how to defend against him because you barely beat him last time. Maybe you need to switch something up. Do you know an 8th?
SF4 doesn't have that. There's a reason Capcom kept copying ideas from the SNK fighting games and why the KOF Finals the past two years have been incredible.

Damn I missed out on this shyt, I totally ignored fighters this gen because of the 360 wack ass D-pad. I think ima go pick this shyt up tomorrow for PS3 so i can get in the fighter game mode and get ready for Killer instinct

Lol any decent player is gonna be familiar with every character in their game. That's not depth.
If not for SF4's massive success (its already been out more than 5 years with another new version coming) none of these other new fighting games would likely exist. It completely revitalized the genre.

nikka did you see this year's Evo match. fukking Gen won. SF consistently shows that even the lowest tiered characters can be mastered.
Gen is not low tier, people are just lazy and didn't want to dig deep into that character..... Xian's Gen might be just as cheap as Ibuki or Akuma. Those stance change combos
