The genius of occult and conspiracy theory related content is that it falls under the first category whilst pretending it falls into the second.
Believing that celebrities are just unscrupulous individuals who are willing to debase themselves(like allowing themselves to be passed around for sex, cutting off all their friends and family members because they dont fit into the brand they want to create, engaging in content that is harmful to their community[like c00ning]) and who just tend to be extraordinarily lucky is too boring.
Now believing that the devil is real and can actually give you powers, now that activates the imaginative side that every person is born with. You get to use your imagination as an adult but in a way that isnt shameful since using imagination and daydreaming as an adult is something that will brand you as immature and childish. Believing in occult conspiracies allows the adult to have his cake and eat it too as it were. He still gets to feel like a serious adult who should be taken seriously, whilst believing in something outlandish and irrational.
Its like how people will stare at you point blank and tell you they believe in ghosts but have no explanation for why there isnt an ABUNDANCE of paranormal activity every five seconds given the literal trillions of people that have died over the last 10,000 years. Its because it isnt about whether ghosts exist or not, its about feeling like the world around you can be controlled and makes sense.
Its not that celebrities are lucky people who are also shameless and psychopathic, the devil needs to be involved somehow even though if the devil were real enough enslaved Africans wouldve prayed to him to slay white people and he wouldve followed through and liberated our ancestors in less than 10 years. Instead they endured hundreds of years of suffering until the greed of white people made them turn against one another(the civil war).

What are you going to do about what they believe in?
Seriously, the only valid answer is to just avoid them. People are going to believe what they believe. Some out here are exploding buildings with people in them for their beliefs. Them using signatures that claim they sold their soul is far down on my list of belief systems that cause me any concern.
That problem is something they created for themselves, if it exists. If their soul gets pulled on their death, well they signed on the dotted line. No sympathy from me at all.
