it's not the hate that's celebrated. it's the realness.he'd still be celebrated if he was just a cool real dude. realness is so rare in this world that we'll praise it from who ever it comes from even if the person is a horrible human being.

star's not a horrible human being though. he is very consistent with his thoughts and beliefs, its just most people find him jarring becsuse hes very raw and straight to the point. he sh1ts on everyone but if he thinks there's an injustice he will fight the fucc out of it...you should watch clips of when he talks about the whole jlo saying nicca in a song and him calljng fat joe and angie martinez sp1cs to their faces because he felt he should be able to if theyre saying nicca this nicca that.


he also drops loads of jewels about law and business in his show and from his stories it seems hes led an extremely colourful life. his show is one of the only 'programs' i watch everyday without fail, theres alot of fuccery in it but ive learnt alot from it.

Star and Wendy are friends. I'll say Char is a student of both of them. He's not as bold as both of them but he tries too hard. It's like Kevin Hart is sorta funny but I can't take his comedy in doses. I personally don't like Char as a radio personality cause the laughs and slick comments aren't genuine. I don't agree with everything they say but at least Star and Wendy were real. And like a poster said Star is more intelligent and drops a lot of gems. He's needed in radio. I always say since he left both stations have tried and failed at filling that void. It will never be duplicated.

I agree to some extent.

Meanwhile Charlemagne just tells kids to have unprotected sex (because it feels better). Tells kids to stay away from blacks and trust the plan that"the white man and god" made for them. Cosigns any bullshiit that is said about or to black people.

I dont always agree with what Star say (or his stance on things) but at least he is not a sell out sucker.

@Abstract83 Exactly...also Wendy Williams has a white following but you never see her c00n it up for her audience. She keep it funky on race issues all the time without hesitation unlike Charlemagne.

Agree or disagree, but Star's original 'objective hate' philosophy is compelling. Of course he's not objective but at least he can pretend very well.
Also, like someone else said he brings a lot of information/knowledge about various subjects to the table in an interesting way. He's like very intelligent but not uppity or bougey about it. He keeps the common touch, that's a difficult thing to accomplish.
